IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) – A nonprofit in Iowa City is expanding into a new part of the city, and the expansion will focus on early childhood education. Neighborhood Centers of Johnson County hosted a “Rock The Block & Raise The Roof” event Saturday in the Towncrest neighborhood of Iowa City. “Raise the Roof” wasn’t just a fun label for the party-it was also the event’s actual goal.
