CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Washington High School in Cedar Rapids briefly enacted its “SECURE” protocol Wednesday due to a report of gunshots in the neighborhood surrounding the school. The protocol includes bringing all students indoors, locking all doors and windows and not allowing any students to leave the school.
