CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Nearly 90 veterans will take off on the Eastern Iowa Honor Flight 53 on Tuesday, Oct. 8. The flight will depart at 7:15 a.m. from the Eastern Iowa Airport (CID), and the plane will travel to Washington, D.C. to visit war memorials and the Arlington National Cemetery.
