IOWA CITY, Iowa – The boos bounced off of Duke Slater Field during Saturday’s second quarter. Hawkeye Nation was not pleased with the plan. Iowa called three ultra-safe offensive plays from the Washington 19-yard line before kicking a field goal. The crowd wanted the Hawkeyes to attack the visitors after its defense got the ball via a forced fumble. Instead, air came out of the stadium.
