CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Saturday was the annual Open House at the Veterinary Technology Center, part of Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids. “Every fall, the [veterinary technician] students, the first year and second year students get to invite their friends and family, and then any potential adopters from the community get to come and look at what dogs we have available,” said Jess Forman, an instructor in the program.
