IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) – It was a normal Saturday for Melisa Henley as she drove her kids to a birthday party. But that average car ride changed on a stretch of US 218. “My daughter said, ‘Oh, look at the airplane!’ and we all looked up to look at the plane, but it seemed oddly close to the ground. And so our moment of looking at the plane quickly turned to it was too low, and I think it’s going to crash.” she said.
