MARION, Iowa (KCRG) – Marion police have arrested a 33-year-old man accused of beating and stabbing another man. Officers responded to a home at 1388 Elizabeth Drive for an assault call Sunday at 8:40 a.m. They found a man hit on the head with a metal pipe and stabbed multiple times – in the middle of his chest, elbow, thumb and other areas of the body. The victim was treated and released from the hospital and is expected to survive.
