Warm week ahead, storms Friday

EASTERN IOWA (Iowa’s News Now) — What a way to start the new week across eastern Iowa.

Temperatures were running far above normal with many hometowns hitting 70 degrees for the first time this year.

Temperature records were broken in Waterloo and Cedar Rapids on Monday. The Cedar Rapids record had stood since 1984!

A cold front will drop in from the north Monday night and bring “cooler” air to the state on Tuesday…
