Stepfather of convicted Cedar Rapids shooter takes plea deal in gun hiding case

LINN COUNTY, Iowa — The stepfather of the man found guilty of murder in a deadly Cedar Rapids shooting is taking a plea deal after being accused of hiding the murder weapon.

The Gazette reports Pierre Morrow pled guilty in Linn County District Court Thursday to being a felon with a firearm in exchange for getting his accessory and obstruction counts dropped.
