TV9 Rewind: Trout stamp mistake becomes collector’s dream

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – The Iowa Department of Natural Resources stocks hundreds of thousands of trout in the state’s streams every year. Many of those are located in northeast Iowa.

This weekend, crews will be in Cedar Rapids, Kalona, Ottumwa, Clinton and Muscatine releasing about 1,500 fish in each location. There’s even family-friendly events in Cedar Rapids and Ottumwa for anglers of all ages to have fun.
