An Iowa City man has been arrested on some charges related to a drunk driving incident that took place on Muscatine Avenue – and the guy was well over the legal limit.
Police responded to calls to Muscatine Avenue around 3pm Saturday to calls of an excavator rolling down the street and a driver who appeared to be intoxicated.
Officers who responded said once they stopped him, the driver smelled of alcohol, had bloodshot and watery eyes, slurred speech, and was not able to keep his balance. Court documents state he admitted to buying the alcohol and drinking it…
