IOWA CITY, Iowa — Advocates organized a rolling police blockade in Iowa City, opposing Iowa State Police’s task force agreement with ICE. Thursday evening’s rally was part of a series of International Worker’s Day rallies across the state and country.
Advocates could be heard chanting from College Green Park all the way to the Ped Mall fountain stage in the May Day rally organized by Escucha Mi Voz Iowa.
