The Golden Hawk girls are 3-6-3 this year after a scoreless draw against top 15 Maquoketa Friday night where Niva Helmuth had seven saves. This year Mid-Prairie has been outscored 27-20 with 94 shots on goal, 45 corner kicks, nine assists and an 82% team save percentage. Individually, Meadow Flynn has six goals, Lydia Beachy and Brooklyn Schneider two assists each and Helmuth 101 saves.
Iowa City Regina is 5-3-2 after a Friday 1-0 win at West Liberty where Natalie Gahan had the game winner, Morgan Miller the assist and Reese Litton a nine-save clean sheet. On the year, the Regals have outscored their opponents 15-13 in total with 109 shots on goal, 37 corner kicks, five assists and an 81% team save percentage. Individually, Miller leads with seven goals, Maria Monestina has two assists and Litton 52 saves. Regina has won 12 straight in the series, including a 2-0 win last season.
