HOUSTON (WKRC) – Police were searching for a woman after she allegedly called in fake bomb threats to airports her ex-boyfriend was at in order to frame him.
According to charging documents obtained by Law&Crime, the Bush Intercontinental Airport received a call from a woman at around 11:21 a.m. on Jan. 4 who claimed a man, who she named and gave the description of, was going to bomb and shoot up the airport. She claimed the man was in the airport at the time of the call but would soon leave for Cedar Rapids Airport, where he would commit the same acts of terror. She also reportedly called Cedar Rapids Airport and gave them the same warning.
Airport authorities found the man that the caller described and began to question him, but it quickly became clear the man had no intention on hurting anyone at the airport.
