BOONDOCKS in ANAMOSA!
We took our first trip to Boondocks for Listener Lunch in July of 2024, and we discovered that the restaurant has some AMAZING food. The tenderloin (pictured above) is delicious, and so are the cheese curds, the onion straws, and the ‘Pony Pretzel.’ Boondocks also has smash burgers, and one of them might be my favorite burger in ALL of Eastern Iowa! It’s called the Gunslinger and it’s topped with garlic aioli, pepperjack cheese, and a hand-breaded jalapeño popper patty. You can bet that it’ll be my first order of the month this time around!…
