Linn County cancer rates exceed national averages, experts urge local focus and education

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Community members gathered at the Linn County Health Office to hear the latest findings from the Iowa Cancer Registry. It is part of a statewide “Cancer in Iowa: 99 Counties Project.”

This public health initiative aims to enhance cancer education across the state.
