Linn County (Iowa) Conservation is hosting an open house for the new Coneflower and Ridgewood Cabins, and Firefly Campground at Pinicon Ridge Park on Saturday, June 7, from 1-3 p.m., according to a press release.
“This open house is a great chance for the public to view the new cabins and campgrounds in person,” said Dennis Goemaat, executive director of Linn County Conservation. “We are excited to offer a brand-new campground as interest in camping continues to grow. The new cabins present another accommodation option for families to experience nature firsthand during park visits.”
These modern, wood-framed, all-season cabins can accommodate 10-12 guests. Cabin features include four bedrooms (including a bedroom with two bunk beds), bathrooms with showers, full size kitchen, a recreation room, a walkout basement, patio, grill, and fire pit at $250 a night (two-night minimum or three-night minimum on holiday weekends) or $1,500 for a week-long stay…
