CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Overall, plan on a seasonable and mostly dry end to the work week.
Daytime heating could fuel redevelopment of a few isolated showers this afternoon and evening, but most of the area is expected to remain dry. Lows tonight fall into the upper 50s and low 60s as the chance for a stray shower stays with us through the night.
This weekend brings plenty of dry time, but there will be a few chances for showers that you’ll want to keep an eye on if you have any outdoor plans. Highs Saturday and Sunday reach the upper 70s and low 80s with lows in the mid 50s to low 60s. Saturday brings our best chance for rain as a disturbance brings scattered showers to the area during the afternoon and evening hours. On Sunday, another disturbance is expected to pass through the area and bring us the chance for scattered showers and a storm or two during the morning and afternoon hours.
