Cedar Rapids man pleads guilty to swapping prescription drugs for Aleve

BELLE PLAINE, Iowa (Iowa’s News Now) — A former employee of an eastern Iowa pharmacy has pleaded guilty to swapping prescriptions drugs for an over-the-counter pain reliever.

Thomas Kelly, of Cedar Rapids, admitted to taking prescription opioids while working at Hartig Drug in Belle Plaine over a four month period.
