Linn County will host a roundtable discussion today to explore how proposed changes in the federal reconciliation and tax bill, particularly cuts to Medicaid and SNAP, could impact the community.
The discussion will raise awareness about the real-world consequences these changes could have on the most vulnerable residents.
The public is encouraged to attend today’s roundtable and hear from local experts. Linn County Supervisor Sami Scheetz will moderate the discussion with local panelists from the Eastern Iowa Health Center, HACAP, Linn County Public Health, Abbe Health and Matthew 25.
