Single car accident temporarily shuts down Highway 30 in Linn County

LINN COUNTY, Iowa — A one car accident on Highway 30 Eastbound, east of Jappa Road, led to a temporary shutdown of the roadway just before 9:00 a.m. Tuesday.

Officials say a Ford F250 had rolled and come to rest near the median in the eastbound lane.

Debris from the truck, along with the vehicle itself, partially blocked the roadway, resulting in a 20-minute closure of eastbound Highway 30 until a safe lane could be established…
