MARION, Iowa (KCRG) – In just three days, eastern Iowans can legally shoot off fireworks. A new law going into effect Tuesday means cities and counties can no longer block people from shooting off fireworks from their properties on the 3rd and 4th of July.
Previously, cities and counties made their own fireworks ordinances.
