Eastern Iowa woman sentenced to prison for stealing over $25,000 from FEMA, SBA

MARION, Iowa (KCRG) – A Marion woman has been sentenced to federal prison for stealing over $25,000 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Small Business Administration (SBA).

The stolen funds were part of a federal benefits program meant to support victims of the COVID-19 pandemic and the August 2020 derecho.
