CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Some doctors are asking parents if they want to get their children vaccinated for measles sooner than they’re due.
Children get their first measles shot when they’re one, and they’re second between four and six. Many families are hoping to protect their kids by speeding up that schedule in case of an outbreak within the community.
