LINN COUNTY, Iowa — Friends of Karina and Ryan Cooper say there were several signs of strain in the couple’s marriage ahead of Ryan’s June 2021 death in Tama County – including disagreements about finances and open speculation about an affair between Karina and Huston Danker, who are both charged with Ryan’s murder.
