CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – The Linn County Public Health Department is hitting the road, using its new mobile clinic to reach people in need.
There are several stops planned though the department’s first summer tour. The clinic not only offers a quick check up for visitors, but also provides people with preventative services like vaccines.
The first stop was Friday at the Willis Dady Shelter. Shelter officials say there’s been an increase in residents who are suffering from severe health conditions. Along with that, people experiencing homelessness can also struggle to make the time or afford to go to the doctor…
