CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (Iowa’s News Now) — A powerful line of storms swept through Iowa Monday night and Tuesday morning, causing widespread power outages, particularly in the northern part of the state.
According to PowerOutage.us, at one point more than 27,000 customers were without power.
Alliant Energy reporting over 3,000 customers are without electricity in eastern Iowa, including Cedar Rapids. The company is assessing the situation but does not yet have an estimated time for restoration…
