CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – The trial for Andrew Shaw, the man accused of organizing the 2018 murder of Chris Bagley, started Thursday afternoon with opening statements. Shaw faces charges including First Degree Murder, which carries a life sentence.
Shaw is accused of hiring two men, Drew Wagner and Johnny Church (formerly Drew Blahnik), to kill Bagley; both have already been found guilty and are serving 47 and 57 year sentences respectively.
