Coralville man sentenced for possessing loaded handgun, nearly 400 fentanyl pills

CORALVILLE, Iowa (KCRG) – A Coralville man has been sentenced to 12 years in federal prison for drug and firearm charges.

According to court documents and evidence presented during sentencing, 35-year-old Jacky Mabikulu possessed a loaded handgun and 397 fentanyl pills disguised as prescription medication.

Mabikulu is convicted with possession with intent to distribute 40 grams or more of a mixture and substance containing a detectable amount of fentanyl and carrying a firearm during and in relation to a drug crime…
