State Historical Research Center in Iowa City to close, collections to be relocated

IOWA CITY, Iowa — A rally to protest the impending closure of the State Historical Society of Iowa’s (SHSI) Research Center in Iowa City is scheduled for Saturday, August 23, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Iowa City Public Library, 123 S. Linn St.
