Cedar Rapids felon sentenced after throwing gun out window during high-speed chase

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – A Cedar Rapids felon was sentenced after throwing a loaded gun out of his car window during a high-speed chase.

According to court documents, 42-year-old Lawrence Curtis Glover, of Cedar Rapids, pled guilty to one count of possession of a firearm as a felon in March 2025.
