CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Another man convicted in connection to Chris Bagley’s murder in December 2018 took the witness stand in the trial for Andrew Shaw, the drug trafficker accused of orchestrating the murder.
Paul Hoff took the stand on Wednesday, giving a detailed recount of what happened the night Bagley was murdered. Hoff pled guilty to obstruction in the case and is currently serving his sentence in prison. When describing his relationship with Bagley, he said Bagley and him started off as business partners then became friends.
Hoff owned the mobile home where the murder took place and said he did not expect things to escalate, estimating that the whole murder happened in a matter of seconds…
