CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — A Cedar Rapids woman said her garage was broken into Wednesday night, and the whole thing was caught on video. She said neighbors recognize them from previous attempted car burglaries.
Sarah Sacora moved in to her home on the northeast side in January. She said she woke up Thursday morning to the notification on the Ring app and the video capturing two males entering her garage just before midnight.
“Even though they didn’t take anything, you lose some of that peace of mind,” Sacora said. “It really makes you understand that even though you are at your property that you work hard to live in, you’re not always safe. People are still going to violate your personal space, come into your property, and do whatever they want, without regards to how they’re impacting anybody.”…
