$117 million bond for Cedar Rapids schools gets enough signatures to make ballot

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Advocates for a $117 million bond proposal for the Cedar Rapids Community School District say they have collected enough signatures to put the bond on the ballot this November.

Over 20 Cedar Rapids school principals attended the Cedar Rapids Farmer’s Market Saturday in an effort to gather petition signatures.
