Chrome Horse Saloon was a staple in the Newbo District. Many, including myself, were shocked when it shut down in 2024. The large building has sat empty, but that is about to change, as not one, but two new restaurants are planning to open soon!
Why Did Chrome Horse Saloon Close?
It’s still a bit of a mystery to this day. The Cedar Rapids Gazette reports that Chrome Horse announced in September 2024 that it would close their doors for good.
