CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – A shots fired incident delayed the dismissal of students at Johnson STEAM Academy on Tuesday.
At approximately 1:50 p.m. Tuesday, Cedar Rapids Police Department received a call reporting shots fired in the area of 4th Avenue and 16th Street SE.
Johnson STEAM Academy students were dismissed nine minutes late on Tuesday. Typical dismissal is at 2:20 p.m. but students were released at 2:29 p.m.
