‘Person of interest’ turns himself in, charged in stabbing

CENTER POINT, Iowa — The man police labeled a ‘person of interest’ in a Wednesday stabbing is now facing charges.

Riley Young, 30, of Center Point, turned himself into police before 12:30 p.m. Thursday, the Linn County Sheriff’s Office said in a release.

Authorities are charging him with first-degree burglary, willful injury causing bodily injury and two counts of fifth-degree criminal mischief…
