CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Firefighters responded to a garage fire that resulted in severe damage in Cedar Rapids on Tuesday.
At approximately 10:18 a.m. Tuesday, fire crews responded to a report of a garage fire at the 1100 block of J Avenue NW.
Authorities say the fire was brought under control in about ten minutes but caused severe damage to the garage and a car inside the garage. The car caught on fire.
No one was in the garage at the time of the fire, but smoke could be seen from downtown…
