Cedar Rapids volunteers deliver 6,700+ signatures supporting $117 million bond

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Volunteers and representatives from the Cedar Rapids Economic Alliance delivered more than 6,600 signatures to the Cedar Rapids school board on Wednesday. The community signatures are in support of the $117 million dollar bond to be on ballots in November.

The bond funds would go towards upgrading some of the Cedar Rapids Community School District’s high schools and middle schools.
