Marion city council puts pause on proposed aquatics center

MARION, Iowa (KCRG) – Marion community members will have to wait a little longer for a new aquatics center after city council members put a pause on the project Thursday night.

This decision comes after multiple council members shared concerns about the project’s nearly $40 million estimated cost and how it would be paid for.
