Iowans Show Off Their Favorite Photos From Summer 2025 [GALLERY]

Summer isn’t “officially” over until September 22nd, but we’re already reminiscing about summer 2025!

Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, I was one busy gal! On top of work and the gym, I went to two Good Makers Markets, several Cedar Rapids Downtown Farmers Markets, the Iowa Renaissance Festival in Amana, the Linn County Fair, the Great Jones County Fair, Palisades-Kepler State Park in Mount Vernon, two graduation parties, an Iowa State Fair new food tasting in Des Moines, the Market After Dark, Iowa Irish Fest, Lost Island Water Park, a wedding in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, and three karaoke nights at Blind Pig in Cedar Rapids. Oh, and I went out to eat a lot. Like, a lot. And, my summer isn’t over yet! This month, I’ll be headed to Cedar Point, the Michigan Renaissance Festival, and Mackinac Island!

Choosing a favorite photo from summer 2025 is a bit of a challenge, but if I absolutely HAD to, it would definitely be one of the pictures I took during my trip to the UP in August. We visited several waterfalls, a nature preserve, a lighthouse, and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. You can check out all the photos I took during my scenic weekend HERE, but I’ll include just one in the gallery below!…
