CENTER POINT, Iowa (KCRG) – A kitchen fire occurred inside of a home on Sunday evening.
At around 7:35 PM, Fire and emergency personel were dispatched to a home on Maplewood Drive for a report of a structure fire.
Upon arriving at the scene, crews found a fire in the kitchen area of the residence. They quickly controlled and extinguished the flames, but the kitchen area sustained severe damage. Damage was isolated to the kitchen area, however, and did not spread to other areas of the house…
