DES MOINES, Iowa — Nearly a month after the first report, West Nile virus cases have jumped in Iowa, according to the most recent data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The first human case was reported in Emmet County on Aug. 14 by Iowa Health and Human Services.
