Mayor O’Donnell and Cedar Rapids City Council voice support for school bond referendum

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Cedar Rapids Mayor Tiffany O’Donnell, as well as the Cedar Rapids City Council, is endorsing the CRCSD bond referendum that will be on ballots this November.

Mayor O’Donnell and the council sent a letter showing their support.

“On behalf of the City of Cedar Rapids, Iowa Government, we are proud to express our full support for the Cedar Rapids Community School District’s (CRSCD) proposed bond referendum on the November 4, 2025 ballot. While the City and CRSCD are separate taxing entities, we share a common future. Strong cities need strong schools to support neighborhoods, stabilize housing, and preserve community character and vitality.” the letter said…
