CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Starting today, high temperatures will rise into the upper 80s and low 90s. This heat will persist through Tuesday.
With these high temperatures, dew points will reach the mid 60s, making it feel a bit sticky and muggy.
Considering both the temperature and dew points, the heat indices, or the feels-like temperatures, will reach the mid 90s in the central zone, while our southern zone could see them top out at 100 degrees.
