Josie Brown, a Cedar Rapids native, is a part of the 150th freshman class at the University of Northern Iowa. She is majoring in digital media journalism and plans to add a public relations minor in the following year. She also looks forward to joining The Northern Iowan to begin building her experience as a writer.
When deciding where to attend college, Brown felt like UNI was the right fit.
