CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – In 2025 the global airline industry is expected to rake in more than $1 trillion in revenue, according to the International Air Transport Association. It also gets millions of Americans to their destinations every day. The inspiration for this globally used way of transportation started right here in Eastern Iowa, with a toy.
