CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Summer-like weather will continue to hold strong for several more days.
Lows overnight fall into the low to mid 50s under clear skies. Saturday and Sunday will both feature a continuation of warm, sunny, and quiet weather. Highs Saturday reach the upper 70s north of Highway 20, and low to mid 80s elsewhere. Highs Sunday reach the low to mid 80s. Dew points will be relatively dry and comfortable, which will make the heat more tolerable and allow temperatures to cool efficiently at night. Lows fall into the low to mid 50s.
Monday is the warmest day we will see for the next nine days as highs reach the mid to upper 80s. Some of our warmest areas could approach 90 degrees. Dew points remain in the 50s during this time, however, which will save us from additional discomfort during the afternoon and allow lows at night to drop into the mid to upper 50s…
