AmeriCorps volunteers return to Indian Creek Nature Center

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Nine AmeriCorps members began this week with land restoration projects at the Indian Creek Nature Center.

It’s the first team back at the center since the federal Dept. of Government Efficiency government cut its funding in April. AmeriCorps is a federal program that connects its members to service projects across the county.
