TIFFIN, Iowa — After five attempts at the crown, Morning Sun native Hayley Buettell finally earned the title of Miss Iowa USA this summer. The University of Iowa art major will represent the state later this month at the Miss USA pageant in Reno, Nevada.
“It surely has been a whirlwind and so much more than I would’ve expected, but I’m having a blast,” Buettell said.
